group sea kayaking trips are safe, fun & flexible eco
adventure tours. Every school sea kayaking trip is tailored
to meet the needs of each individual group. These wilderness adventures
are offered on the calm, sunny and protected ‘Mediterranean
like’ waters of the Gulf Island chain.
Safe
Safety is our highest priority. Our sea kayak guides are
highly experienced & professional outdoor leaders with
recognized sea kayak guide training, advanced wilderness first aid,
CPR level ‘C’, and radio operators’ certification.
We are members of and strictly adhere to the SKGABC operating standards
and guidelines. Our guide to student ratio is 1:5.
BLUEPLANET guides take care of all aspects of risk management and trip logistics
so teachers & chaperones can enjoy our adventure program as
much as the students. |

Fun & Exciting
Students share laughs and create lifelong bonds while learning
new outdoor skills together, like kayak safety & paddling
techniques. Our guides also instruct students on no trace
and low impact camping practices. Our flexible ‘School Group
Itinerary’ allows for teacher led class time in the field.
We also spend time on the important stuff like beach hikes, old growth forest treks and intertidal
pool exploration. A school trip that is sure to be their best ever. Our
trips are planned with novice paddlers in mind, offering a balance
of challenge & sense of achievement.
Accommodating & Flexible
We understand that traveling with groups can offer its own set
of challenges and we endeavor to make travel planning as simple as
possible. Our flexible itineraries can be suited to your travel arrangements
and in some cases dates can be altered when necessary. We can arrange
your airport or ferry pick-up and drop off, advise you on accommodations,
and provide general helpful advice or local knowledge to aid your
planning. Our goal is to make every trip smooth and successful. We
are always available to provide advice during your planning process.
